Which organic vino suits which cucina?

Italy is one of the world's oldest wine producing countries and each region offers a great diversity of wines. From the famous Chianti from Tuscany to the Sangiovese, Montepulciano and Cesanese from the region around the capital city of Rome, where wines have been produced since ancient times.

In recent years, more and more wine producers have been switching to organic grape farming. In the organic process, no chemical pesticides are used, so that the production is more environment-friendly and you can enjoy your Chianti, Prosecco or Montepulciano without feeling guilty.

So what wine goes best with what dish? A delicate vino bianco is generally drunk with risotto, which is often prepared using a light white wine, or with pasta with fish. A lasagne, or pasta with meat sauce is a perfect match for a more robust red wine, such as the Sangiovese di Romagna. Salute!
